We are hosting a Yearbook Cover Contest for students to show off their art skills and submit artwork for the yearbook.  Students, please make sure your name and teacher name is written in PENCIL on the back of the artwork, and submit to the collection box in the Main Office.  The cover submission is due Friday, December 10th.

Here are some tips from Dorian about how to make a great yearbook cover design:

  1.  Use a sheet of white printer paper that is 8.5"x11".
  2. Draw in pencil first and then trace over with pen/marker.
  3. Make sure to erase all pencil marks when done.
  4. Try to stay within the lines of your drawing while coloring.
  5. Keep all important text & artwork away from the edge.
  6. Be creative and have fun!

If you haven’t purchased a yearbook yet, they are $25 and can be purchased by clicking here.  Please email Kate Murray or Emily Loney with questions.
